Playland Skate Center offers field trips with a 30-45 minute interactive lesson on Newton’s Laws of Motion followed by free time to skate.

The details:

—The cost is $7 per student (including tax and fees). Adults may enter for free unless they wish to skate, in which case they also pay the $7 fee. PLEASE NOTE: Everyone between the ages of 4 and 17 is considered to be a participating student and must pay.
—The field trip cost includes skate rental and skate mates; roller blades are available for an additional $4. You may also choose to bring your own skates.
—Field trip guests are welcome to bring water bottles, but no food or other drinks are allowed.
